This mission is part of the Project “Rethinking Regional Attractiveness Strategies for Inclusive and Sustainable Development”, organised by the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE), with the support of the European Commission (DG REGIO).
These sessions aimed to promote a multi-stakeholder dialogue with key actors in the Lisbon Region to rethink the approach to territorial development in the new global environment impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, current megatrends, and the ongoing war in Ukraine.
In this mission the focus is put on understanding the international characteristics of the regions, identifying existing and new regional pull factors, to understand the regional needs and assets required to be successful in the new global environment.
